And your replacement... who is somehow more powerful than thee (after customization)

And I thought this up, Meg drew it ... we present: Snakes on A Plane

Oh, and I never posted the final tattoo design, made by the gifted [livejournal.com profile] viech

I'm currently making a stencil of this to use on the laptop cover. Krylon Plastic Spraypaint, here I come

I am in no way responsible for the complete lack of sense in this entry. I will blame my current lack of brain cells on my computer shutting down numerous times whilst I worked out the designs for my final flash project (a mini-golf game) (It thinks I put in a 3.2ghz processor .. I didn't)

Oh, and I finally heard back from the cowl, and they were very impressed with the portfolio I sent. And I heard from the REU people at URI and they said to send in an application. And I'm going to go try to call the BPD again, right now. And mount photos for tonights critique.

P.S. life is vewy good.

I shall say a few words in rememberance of Todd-Comp:

Oh my dearest Todd-Comp, how well I did not know thy. You seemed a good little computer, and you brought much joy to a friend and for that I shall ever be grateful. You were only three. In the prime of technologic life. Techno-God speed to beyond in hopes of a life where no golf game can bring you down.

(sheds a tear and throws a rose)

I just got a new computer myself. I treated my old one as if it were a powerful musicbox(which it wasn't plus I'm so technologically retarded, I had no idea what an external drive was) Thankfully, it was brought to my attention and am now taking better care of Tuesday(my new pooder) And even though it still works ok, it might as well be frolicing up in Hard Drive Heaven with Todd-Comp.

Thankee - I'm very happy with it (which is kind've important for tattoos, eh?)

as to where to put it... it is open to discussion for the moment - we shall see. we shall see. I have trouble seeing this on my wrist sometimes... I'm going to get someone to do a temp one there so I can get an idea.

Congrats on the Thinkpad T60 :p - you'll love it. I have a T60 and Aaron uses my old T40 - both running like a charm.

thanks! I'm looking forward to it, it's gotten nothing but solid reviews, and its a nice sturdy system (especially after my customizations) :)

Yes, you're right, its sturdiness is what it's all about in a notebook/laptop - if it falls apart - it just isn't portable!

Spend a lot of time figuring out how to restore the hard disk to its shipped configuration - it can be done easily - also keep in mind it has a lot of OS and ancillary mods specific to the IBM notebook. You just don't want to run a rebuild from a desktop windows OS ... those features will be missing!

I am constantly updating BIOS, support and OS mods from their ThinkVantage update system. Very easy to use ... and it works flawlessly.

Oooh, thank you for the advice!

I'll make sure to keep that in mind. I can't wait for it to come.

I've got the external hard drive I ordered to keep me amused till then (it's fun for me to transfer/organize stuff. How sad am I?)
