Life without a lenscap

Woke up, did not have a hangover, unlike most family members and the like. Took a walk with the cousins, went swimming again, showered, got dressed to get on the bus that would take us to the wedding!

Bear Albany weekend! Today we had a day trip to Sharon Springs, where we got delicious tasty food, and explored the shop of the Fabulous Beekman Boys. Additionally, we got to meet the adorable hotel owners, Doug and Garth, and had some drinks and time in the back yard. Afterwards, we headed back, and got dinner with plaidninja and bigbeartoronto and Jim and Alan. Hung out and watched a movie for a bit, then went to the saturday night event. A good day.

What-up, kids. It's been a while. I'm ... over two months behind. That's a lot. And a lot of photos, it's this point now when it's just super duper overwhelming, because, really? I haven't edited most of them. But you know, I've just been so goddamned busy lately. Like, I mean, I haven't been in my apartment for a full weekend since June. Yikes. Driving around like a mad man and it's not stopping soon.

Additionally These are from 5/19, and on THIS day my friend Kait and I went to an amazing, very nice restaurant in Cambridge called Bergamot. It was super fancy and delicious, and the company was exceptional, too.









I need to slow down or something. I'm fucking beat.

Woke up, and did some work while my parents wandered around and got breakfast ready. Took advantage of the outdoor shower [nothing better, ever], and then had a delicious breakfast with the folks. I helped him move their kayaks to the ocean, and we all headed out and I stopped in Providence to see Alan and work on his website [now live: http://angryalan.com] and my friend Brandon. We then got cheesecake! Then I headed home. This weekend, also, I deem a success.

Today was the birthday party event! My roommates threw it for me, and we had a grand time. There was a mass amount of dancing, singing, beer pong, flip cup, happiness, invisible kittens, tap dancing, family, friends, dinosaurs, bears, beer, and joy. I deem it a wild success.

Monday is trivia day with Matt!

Today my roommate Mike and I did the Great Urban Race here in Boston - AND we placed in the top 25 out of more than 400 teams, which means we advance to the finals in New Orleans. It was a pretty awesome, Scavenger Hunt Race day.

Today the band I'm in, the Dirty Water Brass Band played a gig at a church in Cambridge for the SQUAWK! coffeehouse. We were opening for former punk band The Fugs frontman Ed Sanders. It was a pretty cool night.

I had band practice, and then I got a beer with Justin. Where I had an idea for a project I'm calling the "presence" project.
