Till I get to go to the city. Could not be more pumped to be in a city again, especially since its the Big city. I'm excited to go back into Street Photo mode, something that doesn't really come into practice in Guilford.
Right now I'm listening to: The Sound of Animal's Fighting - Act 1: Chasing suns AND The Sound of Fighting Animals - Stockhausen, Es Ist Ihr Gehirn, Das Ich Suche (Progressive rock)
Bit of background: The Sound of Fighting Animals is made up of "anonymous" (no longer anonymous thanks to the internet) members from bands such as Finch, Circa Survive, and more. They did not meet once during the recording process, and did not know anything beyond what they recorded individually. The only person who heard everything was the guy who mixed it all together at the end. The sound is amazing. Give it a whirl - if your into beats more, try the second one. The first ones a litle more hardcore, the second one is slower and almost operatic (new word) .. they're both amazing. More info...
I was locked out of my office this morning ... but I found reflections inside glass!
I've been working with lights and shadows, trying to get used to photographing people in a posed setting so that I have some experience, and know how to get what effects... posing people subjects isn't really what I'm used to, as my people subjects are usually unaware of the fact that there photo is being taken. It's interesting to find the shadows that come from certain angles and lightings... My friends may find themselves abused into being photo subjects...
Hopefully this weekend will end this somewhat dry streak, photo-wise.
