cptntillerOk. Once again I'm going to resolve to make less crap posts. I'm no longer going to follow memes. I'm going to post stuff that actually applies to me. it may not be a word for word story of my life. it may not be even words. it may be 76 pictures. I'm confident that you can handle it. That being said:
This was a decent weekend, my parents came up for Parents Weekend. Surprisingly, we didn't have any issues! We got along very well all weekend. Friday night we went to fire and ice, which is a sort of grilly type thing here. Heres the deal- you get all this random uncooked food- fruits, vegetables, and meats and seafoods of any kind (you pay one price to do this as many times as you want) Then you pick a sauce and go up to the grill, and they grill everyones food on this big old circle stove, then, when its ready, cook it in the sauce. It's amazing! I love the food there, its absolutely fantastic. Joe came along, and all was good. Afterwards meg and I visited Joe. Saturday me and the rents went to breakfast, hung out at their hotel, and then went to the hockey game ('twas a tie 3-3). Hockey is one of the only sports I can really watch. Then my fam, the dalferros and the Bayards joined together to get pizza.
Today was the only slightly edgy part. This is the portion where my mom goes somewhere and my dad talks business. Finances, scholarship... did I mention I lost that? Because I did. I can't even believe it. That brings my total debt up to something like 25,000. so, basically, I'm going to owe money till I'm 35. But I can't wait to get the job to pay it off- not just because I want to pay it off. Don't get me wrong, I love college. and I kow its the "best 4 years of my life" and I am taking advantage of it. But I really want to get out in the field. Sitting around studying is clearly not for me. Walking the beat may be- and if it isn't, then I'm sure I can find one that is. either way, I'm ready to have a job thats a real job that I love.

EDIT: does going through your archives make anyone else realize how much of an idiot they are/were? because I can see how much I've changed even since 2004, when I first posted. please... don't look at them though, they're so pathetic.
