Woke up, talked to

killerjoe shortly, read for a bit, and started food prep for the barbecue! It went really well, I managed to not cave and have an animal-burger, and all the grilled veggies [asparagus, avocado, eggplant, grean beans, corn] came out awesome - and the veggie burgers and hamburgers, too! Mike made cookies and blackberry lemonade. It was a good day. When food was done, we played citadels, and I took a very exhausted nap before heading to

eric_mathgeek and

quirkstreet's gig at The Middle East. They played a GREAT set, and when I got out of the T I realized I didn't want to go home yet, so I grabbed a drink at the burren with Sheryl and Justin.

Sidebar: I'm sure you've all noticed I've started posting WAY more images than I used to - I'm really going for more of a journal feel with these now. I don't know how long that will keep up, but I like having more than one photo's record for each day.
