Today was my birthday [please note, by today I mean the day of the date in the subject line, not the day this was posted. I am more than a month behind] and it was a really nice, low-key day. Started at midnight with a viewing of Jurassic Park and a glass of Jameson, ended with a game of Ticket to Ride with Katie and Mike. Work and playing with my band, the Dirty Water Brass Band at the Burren in the middle.

Today my roommate Mike and I did the Great Urban Race here in Boston - AND we placed in the top 25 out of more than 400 teams, which means we advance to the finals in New Orleans. It was a pretty awesome, Scavenger Hunt Race day.
